Plaques

I like creating plaques because you can carve so many sayings and addages and words of wisdom to keep you thoughtful.

My plaques come in several wood types depending on your preference.

The illustrations may be Representative of the actual plaque, produced by the software I use and will not convey the finished product in actual form.  This includes the wood color and grain.  

You choose the wood at your own "risk" and if you are picky about the actual color or grain, please go to your lumber yard and preview the actual wood and then decide by the wood choices I offer here.  You should be happy with the results.

You can also choose whether you want the engraving "embossed" by pocket carving around the design, or whether you just want the design to be carved at a standard 1/8"  (.125) with a flat tip end mill bit.

If you want it finished, I offer as a FREE option to put on a wax-free Shallac which seals it but is not considerred as waterproof as, for example, eurothane.
